Goodbye Dear Friend

My daughter lost a good friend yesterday. Even though we will all miss Jubilee, my heart hurts most for Kristin and the loss she must bear.

Juby came into her life eleven years ago at a time most crucial in the life of a young woman. They have journeyed together through the thick and the thin and her loss is hard felt.

Kristin's poignant and articulate post "Jubilee," THURSDAY, AUGUST 31, 2006, expresses the unique and valuable relationship this canine critter has represented in her life. It could not have been said any better and makes for a fitting eulogy.

Kristin's description of their last moments together is wrenching. Who has not had the experience of having to say final good byes to someone they love very much? Very few things in life are more difficult.

We all love you very much Kristin. May God hold you in his arms and lift you up.

And Juby, wherever you might be, rest peacefully. You have launched your girl well. For she soars. She soars. Thank you furry friend. We will miss you.
